I remember my first day of Seminary as if it was
yesterday. There I was, bright eyed, enthusiastic about God, and eager to learn
everything I could in order to one day become the best Pastor that ever lived. The only problem was it would not be
until 33 years of being a Christian and 11 years in full-time ministry that I would find out that I didn't have any faith. Yes I said it. I was a Christian and a Pastor but had not truly understood what faith was and what it meant for me until about 2 years ago. The funny thing about that, is as I speak with Christians and Pastors around the world, I am discovering more and more that I am truly not alone. Many persons understand how to talk about faith, but when asked to really examine how they live it out and what it looks like for them personally, I am often met with a blank stare. The other thing I discovered in this awakening moment, is that faith does not have to look the same. The expressions of faith are as different as our fingerprints. So now that I am on the journey of discovery, I decided that I would share it with you as the reader. For the next several weeks tune in to read my discoveries, failings, misunderstandings and everything else as I share my faith of a M&M.
